We’re glad you’re here! Hosting an exchange student is a great opportunity to learn about the world and give a young person the opportunity to realize their dreams.
We work to match families with students that are a good fit for their interests and lifestyle. We want everyone to have a great experience and provide orientation and support, both at regular check-ins and as needed, throughout the school year. It is personally important to me that we are accountable to our students and families.
We partner with local public high schools and are actively seeking host families for exchange students that would attend:
- Fluvanna County High School
- Charlottesville High School
- Western Albemarle
- Monticello High School
- Amherst County High School
- William Campbell
- Lynchburg City Schools
- Wilson Memorial
- Fairfax County Schools
- Fauquier County Schools
- Orange County Schools
- Spotsylvania County Schools
- Page County Schools
- Rockingham County Schools
- Wakefield Memorial High School
Don’t see your school on the list but are interested in hosting? Contact us! We are happy to coordinate with your local school and would love to support you in your hosting adventure.
Host families are volunteers and provide a bed and meals. Students have their own spending money and pay their own school expenses and extracurricular activities.
We want you to have a great experience with us and work to make good matches between host families and volunteers based on common interests and lifestyle.
